Our philosophy
Savon Stories is an independent family business, inspired by the memory of my grandfather, who raised me on the family farm. He has lived for more than a century thanks to his minimalist but nutrition-intense diet.
Convinced that our skin is a second stomach, we have drawn inspiration from this philosophy to create “nutrition-intensive” skincare using techniques that enhance their effectiveness.
How do we do this?
What characterizes deep nutrition skin care?
We only use organic ingredients. Organic plants contain more vitamins and nutrients, which means that your skin gets everything the plant has to offer. Plus, you're assured that what your skin absorbs has been grown in a way that's healthier for it and the local ecology.
A conventional moisturizer is made up of more than 50% water. Our waterless formulations guarantee a concentrate of nutrients and vitamins to nourish your skin. 0% water, 100% active ingredients. In addition, a portion of the profits from our sales is reserved for the construction of cleaner and more sustainable water systems for communities that do not have access to water. Heat kills nutrients (as in overcooked cooking). Our “cold” manufacturing process protects our nutrient-rich formulations, so they can nourish your skin. This is what allows our soaps to be ultra moisturizing and not to have that feeling of dryness on the skin like too many soaps.

We do this through a clever synergy of the highest quality ingredients, and careful craftsmanship – all done in-house at our mill in Provence.
